1. Elkington's ‘Khamis Pajamadrama at Sutina’
Super brindle boy, no mistaking his well-balanced overall conformation. Lovely head, dark eye peering out from a wealth of cheeky monkey whiskers. Well angulated shoulder and upper arm, elbows well underneath, good sized front feet, good depth of chest, spring of rib, strong loin and good fallaway with excellent hind angulation. Super free-flowing movement, showing excellent length, spring and power to stride for one so young. Very pleased to award him BPD and then BPIS.
2. Morris & Meakes'
‘Gezancol Twist of Fate at Cadmore’
Smart black and tan boy. Nice head with good dark eye. Well angulated shoulder and upper arm, elbows nicely under body. Good depth to chest, short strong loin, nicely balanced hindquarters, well let down hocks and good to see a lovely ring to his tail. Did not move today with quite the same freedom as 1.

1. Winters' ‘Garamond Cloudberry for Tokando’
Black and silver, lovely head and expression, good shoulder, depth of chest and nice length of limb. Super ring to tail. Showed good drive and extension at times, although a little erratic - still a baby though! Overall a lovely boy well presented. Unfortunate to come up against the Minor Puppy winner when challenging for BPD, the younger dog's movement was more consistent today.

1. Stainsby's ‘Istani Breaking
Every Code’
Lovely gold boy I admired as a pup. Beautiful head shape with ears set low, would have preferred a slightly darker eye but good eye shape. Nice arch to neck flowing into well laid shoulders. Good depth to chest, level topline, balanced hindquarters with good tail set. Super movement showing lift and drive, flowed easily round the ring. Well presented.
2. Prest's ‘Asianskies
Claret n Blu'
Gorgeous blue brindle, unlucky to meet 1. Beautiful head and eye shape on this boy. Good length of neck leading into lovely shoulder. Fair depth to chest, prominent hipbones, good fallaway and low set hocks. To make the picture complete I would prefer a little more body, nevertheless won this place on his movement, showing with tremendous reach and drive.

Well balanced shaded masked gold, a little light in eye, lovely length of neck into well laid shoulder. 1. Vowles' 'Azmari Black
Diamond'
Lovely black and tan boy - immaculately presented! Elegant head but definitely a dog! Low set ears, clear occiput, nice length of neck flowing into excellent shoulders, level topline, strong loin. Good depth to chest and spring of rib, in super condition. Moved steadily round the ring with good length of stride. Tough decision between this boy and my eventual Best Dog, so had to settle for RBD today.
2. Morris and Meakes'
‘Andizhan Balzac of Cadmore'
Lovely shaded masked silver boy, gives the impression of a strong compact dog capable of doing his job. Nicely balanced overall, nice to see good chiselling and a lovely mandarin beard, such an important breed feature. Ears set nice and low, balanced length of neck flowing into well laid back shoulder. Good depth of chest and spring to ribs. Strong loin, excellent correct slope to fallaway and good length from hip to hock. Shame he had a slight slip on the move which seemed to affect his confidence for the rest of the class.

What a beautiful gold baby! Super head and eye shape hidden behind those fluffy whiskers. Good length of neck flowing into very well made shoulders. Excellent depth of chest and spring of rib. Super hind angulation with terrific length from hip to stifle and hock, lovely ring tail. She moved with great confidence, drive and purpose for one so young - as if she'd been doing it for years! ‘Zaram Zafirah’
Litter sister to Z. Zarita and my find of the day. Gorgeous brindle young lady, every inch what an Afghan bitch should be. Beautiful balanced head with strong underjaw, dark eye of super shape giving true expression. Nice length of neck, well made shoulders, excellent depth of chest and spring to ribcage. Level topline, strong loin, excellent rear angulation and turn of stifle to low set hocks. In superb body condition and what a little power-house! She looked like she could turn on a sixpence, moving with such drive and elevation, covering the ground effortlessly. A true hunting hound and a credit to her owners. Pleased to award her Reserve Best Bitch and ultimately RBIS.

1. Twentyman Thompson's ‘Gezancol
Smoke & Mirrors at Gothika’
A
beautiful young lady I've always admired and did well for as a puppy, an honest
and soundly constructed bitch now coming into her own. Lovely to go over, with
super black mask and rich gold coat. Beautiful feminine head with the darkest
of well-shaped eyes. Good length of neck flowing into excellent shoulders,
elbows well under body. Very good depth to chest and spring of rib giving
plenty of heart and lung room. Compact strong loin, good fallaway
and super length of bone from hip to hock and on good sized feet. In super
condition and with a natural saddle. She won this class on her movement today,
showing tremendous reach and drive whilst giving the impression there's plenty
more in the tank! Moved today the best I've seen her, so delighted to award her
Best Bitch and BIS.
2. Coombes' ‘Gezancol Topsy Turvey’
Beautiful feminine b/s young lady, again with a lovely head and expression. Litter sister to 1, a little finer throughout but still well balanced overall. Lovely length to neck, good shoulders, deep chest and good spring of rib, level topline with correct slight arch over the loin. Good slope to fallaway and again good angulation with feet firmly placed on the floor. Well presented, natural saddle. Moved a little erratically at times but still showed freedom in the shoulder, allowing good ground coverage with strong drive behind.
