I was delighted to be asked to judge this prestigious Breed Show, and the entry was of a very good standard, so good that it was the strongest line-up that I have had, presentation and handling were great, and most of the handlers did their Afghans proud. The venue was super and a lot of hard work has gone into it, well done to the committee.

A pleasing bitch,
nice construction, with a nice open side gait on the move, sound coming and
going, nicely balanced head with good eye

on the stack and on the move, well handled, and was moved at the correct pace
for the bitch.

of upper arm, Well ribbed back with good spring of rib, lovely angles on rear
The movement just went to show what this lovely bitch can do, her movement was
effortless, sound and stylish, this super girl will go on to do very well. Was
in contention for top honours.

good top-line held on the move. Well matched angles from front to rear
assembly, presented and handled as always to perfection.

A feminine and
elegant bitch with a lovely head good eye, shape, set and colour. Good neck and
extended the front well on the move with unexaggerated movement on the rear
made this bitch cover the ground.

A super elegant and
refined bitch, nice head and well-made all through, very houndy with super
movement that can only come from good construction, this and the first bitch
were two lovely bitches

Yet another quality
bitch, with a great stamp of presence, just loved her, Elegant head with good eye
shape, set and colour, well made with a good shoulder and corresponding upper-arm
good spring of rib and well ribbed back with good heart and lung room.
Nice croup. However the movement was so good she had to take this strong class,
presentation and handling were great, she was in contention for top honours and
given time and maturity I am sure she will do very well.

well made all through, from her nice head to her good front to a nice angled
rear combined to give a great movement that was light yet powerful. And a good
presence in the ring

This one caught my
eye as soon as she came into the ring, with her movement that could only come
from good conformation. Good balanced head and neck, lovely topline held on the
move, spring of rib and depth of chest all good, so stylish.

Gorgeous bitch with a
super head, good balance between foreface and back scull exotic expression and
refined zygomatic arch so important in helping to shape the eye, the neck was
good and in proportion to the overall balance of length of back to length of
leg giving an overall picture of balance and quality. This is a very good
bitch, but today was let down on the move.

Wow, just loved this
quality girl, with an exquisite head good eye, nice neck leading into a good
body with good angles at front and rear, spring of rib and depth of chest all
good, and great to see, low hocks. Her movement was effortless with parallel
movement going away from you and also coming towards you, with reach and drive
on the side gate. Reserve Bitch CC and I was Delighted that my co Judge Thought
so highly of her he wanted her to go Res Best in Show!

Stunning is a much
overused word, so much so that it diminishes its true meaning, however it dose
apply here and how.
The Head, text book.
Overall balanced with a good underjaw, good eye with good shape set and colour.
Nice occiput, low set ears, and the look through you attitude. The neck is good
and well set on to the body, leading into the best of fronts with an upper arm
and shoulder of balanced proportion. The spring of rib, depth of chest was good
and also well ribbed back, nice tail set carried well. In all well made through-out
and balanced within her-self. Lovely
presentation of this pale and interesting bitch, and handled well in a discreet
manner at the correct pace that let her show herself off to the best
advantage Bitch CC and delighted that my
Co Judge insisted that she go Best In Show over a very good male who won the
Dog CC
