I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge, their hospitality & lovely gift. As always it’s an honour & a privilege to judge this breed. Thanks also to all the exhibitors for allowing me to access their beloved dogs. I had a very enjoyable day in good company. Despite the damp start judging was able to be held outdoors, which I always think is better for this breed.

Class 1.Veteran Dog or Bitch (1)

1st. McPhail’s Pashtari Prussian Officer. Masculine shaded masked gold dog, good head with dark eye, good length of neck leading into well laid shoulder and good front angulation bringing elbow well under body, deep chest and good spring of rib, strong loin, prominent pin bones, good croup, ring tail, nicely balanced dog, moved steadily BVIS

1. Winter’s Pashtari Lord Tennyson Tokando. Black/tan dog with lovely balanced head & dark triangular eye, long neck into well laid shoulder, good front, deep chest, level topline held on the move, good croup, prominent pin bones & good length between hip and hock, ring tail, well muscled and moved steadily with a springy gait.

2. Drage’s Gilari Rosso Corsa. Shaded masked gold with pleasing head, long neck, good shoulder, deep chest, short loin & good croup, well bent stifle, a bit unsettled on the move.

Class 5. Yearling Dog. (3)

1. Newton’s Shimalma Rum Runner. Brindle dog with strong masculine head, long neck into well laid shoulder, good front & deep chest, good croup, sweeping hindquarters, good bone, covered the ground well with long strides

1. Noble & Della Rocca’s Prisoner of Love. Black masked gold youngster, lovely head with dark eye, long neck into well laid shoulder, balanced angles fore & rear, short loin, good croup, moved well once settled.

2. Kidd’s Zhivas Night Sorcerer. Black dog, balanced head with dark eye & nice expression, good length of neck, balanced angles fore and rear, short loin, didn’t have the reach and drive of winner.

Class 9. Post Graduate Dog (3)

1. Elkington’s Khamis Pajamadrama at Sutina. Masculine dark brindle with lovely head with dark eye and keen expression, long well muscled neck into well laid back shoulder & good front angulation, elbow well under body, deep chest, good spring of rib, strong short loin, nice croup,matching rear angles, well bent stifle and good length from hip to hock, moved with a springy gait covering the ground well, pushed hard in the challenge for best dog RBD

2. Reed’s Cloudside Music Maker. Black masked gold dog , balanced head with dark eye, good length of neck, good shoulder ,deep chest, balanced angles, longer cast than winner, moved soundly

3. Heard’s Alouann Shimmer’N’Shine

Class 10. Limit Dog. (3) 1 abs

1. Brooks & De-Haviland’s Alouann Mr High’N’Mighty at Grenowood. Self masked cream dog, masculine balanced head, long arched neck, well laid shoulder, short well muscled loin, prominent pin bones, good croup & tail set, sweeping hindquarters, covered the ground with long easy strides

2. McPhail’s Pashtari The Priest of Love. Black masked gold dog, litter brother to veteran dog, good head with good expression from nicely shaped dark eye, good length of neck, good depth of chest, balanced angles fore & rear, short loin, good croup, ring tail, not the movement or ground coverage of winner

Class 11. Open Dog. ( 1 )

1. Winter’s Garamond Cloudberry For Tokando. Tall Black /silver dog, lovely head and expression, dark well shaped eye, long strong neck, good shoulder, elbows well underneath, good depth of chest and spring of rib, level topline, well muscled short loin, correct croup & tail set finished with a ring tail, good length from hip to hock, hocks low set, well presented, moved soundly covering the ground well. BD & RBIS

1. Lockett-Davies Rhazmakh Tyme ‘N’ Tyde. Dark brindle balanced head with dark eye and lovely expression, long neck, good shoulder, nicely angles fore & rear, short loin, well muscled, good length of leg, ring tail, moved with long strides once settled BPIS

Feminine brindle , beautiful head, dark well shaped eye and lovely expression, long neck leading into well laid back shoulder and good return of upper arm, good depth of chest, short strong loin, well bent stifle, balanced angles fore & rear, correct croup and tail set, ring tail, moved with a light springy gait. Unfortunately let herself down on the move in the challenge for BB

2. Smith & Brooks Bondor White Gold. Lovely self masked white girl with a feminine head and dark eye, balanced throughout, short loin, well muscled, ring tail, movement was a bit erratic today

2. Smith & Brooks Bondor Anniversary Waltz. Black and silver, nervous girl who unfortunately didn’t want to be touched today, feminine head, dark eye, good length of neck, good shoulder, short loin, moved well when settled.

Class 19. Post Graduate Bitch. (3)2 abs

1. Lockett-Davies Bondor a Golden Age Over Rhazmakh. Caught my eye as a puppy & she did again today, Beautiful silver brindle, balanced feminine head, dark triangular eye, looks at and through you expression, long neck into well laid back shoulder, good return of upper arm, elbows well underneath body, balanced angles fore & rear, good depth of chest & spring of rib, level topline, strong short loin, well bent stifle, low set hocks, well muscled, good croup & tail set, finished with a ring tail, silky coat well presented, moved round the ring with long springy strides covering the ground with ease. Pleased to award her BB & BIS

1. McKendry’s Cloudside Empress Octavia. Dark brindle I have admired before, balanced head with dark eye, good reach of neck, well laid shoulder, deep chest & spring of rib, short strong loin, good croup & tail set, ring tail, balanced angles fore & rear, covered the ground with long free strides.
